Rosalyn Wheater lay in her hammock, resting, enjoying the light, summer breeze. She’d finished all her chores and had at least three hours to relax until dinner time. So yeah! Better late than never but because I had to bide my time in telling my immediate family, I had to wait to share with the social media circle that I'm ENGAGED! I have been since July 21st. Too long to not be able to express how happy I am... buuuut when you are in a relationship with another woman and family members don't agree with it...the celebration won't always happen for everyone... Which is super hard, but I'm honestly trying to not let it dampen my mood. My mom hasn't really talked to me since I told my parents over the weekend. Guess I should give it time. My fiance' shared the story best, so I will just copypasta her story

MOAR UPDATES!!!!

Well, unfortunately my previous delusions of grandeur were little more than that. I have not been writing OR drawing for the past few months, mostly due to the encroachment homework has made on my life. My comic has been tabled, mostly because I felt uncomfortable with it, since it seemed too heavily "influenced" by some of my favorite webcomics, that it felt like creative theft. So I am now back to square one. Yay. I am going to try my hand at some more flash-fiction (longer than a "drabble" but less than 500 words) and might even try and do some work on previously "tabled" projects. First, a little bit of housecleaning: 1) "Story Book" is going on hold, indefinitely. I'm sorry, but I felt I should officially announce this. I planned to spend NaNoWriMo writing large chunks of it which could then be released over a long period of time, however, since I spent much of November on a different project (a collab with ShineWithTheStars), I do not have anything new to release. Likewise, my creativity is now focused towards this other project. 2) While all of my writing creativity is now turned toward the above mentioned project with Seiya, these creative juices can be measured in teaspoons, not gallons. Procrastination at it's best - or worst -.

It is currently 9:37 at night on Tuesday the 17th and rather than taking this time and mental focus to construct a certain 6 page research paper about same-sex marriage, a certain ingenious college student (hereafter referred to as "Ryn") is wasting precious time and focus on this drivel. Ryn sits at her computer, glued to the screen allowing the words to flow through her in a zen-like state into the vastness of cyber-space, rather than into the confined spaces of a Word:mac document to be turned in at 1:15 pm on Thursday the 19th. What fuels her refusal to confine the magic of words to order? Naiveté? Folly? Rebellion? Madness??? Or an
